Qualifications
Although there may be a number of viable franchisee profiles, MONSTAR Management believes that it should try to attract franchisees that meet the following criteria:
- Strong sales and customer service abilities. The MONSTAR model is successful because the current Monster Transmissions team has been aggressive and consistent in marketing the products and services offered. We will transfer this same aggressiveness and consistency from Monster to MONSTAR. The owner/operator for a MONSTAR franchisee must be very comfortable with face-to-face customer service work and sales directly to the customer. A franchisee must be a great “people person” who is outgoing and can bond with the customer base and is not afraid to be outgoing each and every day. The business model has been built on relationships and franchisees need to have the same approach to building their business.
- Good with Timing Schedule Management and can work under pressure. The busy schedule and fast pace of the shop will keep the owners busy during the week. A typical franchisee will typically have a few employees and will focus on keeping the repair schedule efficient will require certain skill sets and management ability.
- High personal standards: excellence, honesty, integrity, etc. It is critical that the franchisees do have the customers as their number one priority in servicing clients and delivering the services upon which MONSTAR has built its reputation. As units are opened and the brand reach is expanded, the quality of the service is ultimately what will make or break the MONSTAR concept.
