Atlanta, GA – 9/24 – 9/25/2016
The Atlanta franchise exposition is coming in September of this year. The show is a fantastic venue for franchisors to exhibit their value, show their brands and display their opportunities and buyers to interview franchisors and find out what might make a good fit for their needs and interests in a franchise business. The Atlanta franchise show typically boasts 100 franchisor booths and up to 3,000 attendees. At the show, you can expect significant amounts of franchise resources including handouts, franchise workshops, franchise industry resources and general franchise buyer guidance for those looking into the market.
The franchise industry has something offer for just about any business investor. Individual franchise owners can choose from retail, food service, business services, landscaping, pet services and a wide variety of other industry segments. Generally speaking, the franchise industry has a franchise for just about any sort of business model that someone could dream of. Unit franchises are offered to franchisees who typically would like to work in the business and operate a business as a hands on business owner while master franchises and multi-unit franchises offer opportunities for more veteran franchise business owners who are comfortable owning more than one franchise business at a time.
The Atlanta franchise convention will have business consulting resources, lending resources, franchise consultants and other industry professionals who are there to present and offer their guidance. The SBA and SCORE will have representatives on site as well to provide small business support.
The Atlanta franchise show this year is being sponsored by Franchise Marketing Systems who will be holding a Pavilion at the show allowing for franchisors to exhibit at a drastically reduced rate who will also have the benefit of onsite support, additional marketing exposure and premium positioning at the show. Christopher Conner, President of Franchise Marketing Systems will be conducting workshops at the show on how to find the right franchise and how to franchise your business. The workshops are free of charge to attendees and are held in small group settings with an open discussion format with content-rich presentations. Mr. Conner will be presenting to potential franchisees on the following topics, how to build your franchise business plan, how to evaluate franchises, what to look for in a franchisor and how to evaluate a Franchise Disclosure Document / Franchise Agreement. For Franchisors, Mr. Conner will be presenting with a focus on franchise strategy, franchise legal work, developing appropriate franchise operations manuals and documentation and how to market and sell a new franchise.
