SmartLawn is a residential lawn care, tree and pest control company headquartered in South Dennis, MA. The company was founded in September of 2015 to help elevate the Green Industry to a new standard and give homeowners who value quality a better alternative. Our mission is to provide our customers with the healthiest, greenest and completely weed-free lawn.
SmartLawn is an environmentally sensible lawn care company that utilizes a holistic approach to lawn care. By implementing IPM (integrated pest management program), SmartLawn dramatically reduces the use of toxic products, which caters to the environmentally conscious consumers in New England’s Coastal Communities. SmartLawn also implements practices such as soil testing, real-time field diagnosing, and spot treating of lawns.
We create long-term relationships with our customers because we know how valuable time is, and we want to provide a worry-free, stress-free experience with a local company our customers can trust.

When you join the SmartLawn team as a franchise owner, you will receive outstanding support in a number of different exciting areas including:

Training
Training for new members of the SmartLawn family will include:
- 1-2 weeks of training either online or in Marlborough, Massachusetts beginning approximately 4 weeks before the franchise is scheduled to open.
- 3-4 days of direct training at your location to get your business started.
- Ongoing support and guidance in building and operating your business.
- 2 sessions per year, which can be up to 2 days of refresher training or meetings.
Territories
When you join the SmartLawn team, you have the choice of a new startup business or you can convert your current lawn care business to be under the SmartLawn umbrella. SmartLawn will work with you to create your territory. Territories will include no less than 50,000 single family dwellings and will take into account other factors such as demographics, population density and market information. Final territories will be defined by zip code.
